MOUNT ALTO, Pa. - Jeffrey Zook carded a 78 to lead NCC in round one of the PCAA state tournament at Penn National Golf Course on Monday.  Zook's score was the fourth lowest posted during the opening round.

Dan Fiske and Brandon Hendershot each finished with an 85, while Michael Hicks shot a 90 and Andrew Konkolics fired a 93.

The Spartans, with a team score of 348, are only 15 shots behind the leader, Potomac State College.

NCC will play the Iron Forge Course on Tuesday in the final round of the tournament.
