SCHUYLKILL HAVEN, Pa. - It was a tale of two halves for the NCC women's basketball team on Thursday night, as the Spartans held a 30-29 halftime lead over PSU-Schuylkill, but the Lions outscored Northampton, 29-12 in the second half, to earn a 58-42 victory.

Antoinette Wise scored 14 points, grabbed 14 rebounds and recorded 5 steals and Linda Bookwalter added 13 points to pace the Spartans, who played without third leading scorer Krista Ruhle, who was out with an injury.

Northampton, now 1-5 overall (1-0 Region XIX), travels to Toms River, NJ on Saturday to face Ocean County College in a Region XIX matchup at 12:00pm.
