HARRISBURG, PA - In a matchup of the top two teams in the Eastern Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference, Harrisburg Area Community College defeated Northampton, 4-3, on Thursday to claim the top seed for the upcoming EPCC championships.

Cody Ruff defeated Diago Sosa, 6-7 (7-3), 6-2, 6-1, in a tremendous match while Megan Groh and Ashley Bennett remained undefeated on the women's side with 6-0, 6-1 and 6-0, 6-0 victories, respectively in singles and 8-0 as a doubles team.

Brandon Wright and Matt Sell lost a tough doubles match, 8-6, as did Ruff and Bryan Silk.

The Spartans, 4-2 overall, will be the #2 seed for the EPCC championships on April 25th.
