PENN NATIONAL GOLF COURSE, PA - Freshman Christopher Gill fired a 73 on day two to lead the Spartans to a 5th place finish at the PCAA State Golf Championships.
Gill, who carded an 86 on day one, rebounded to shoot the low score of the tournament and earn All-State Honors.
The Spartans as a team shot 503, good for 5th place in the ten team tournament. NCC's day two score of 243 was the second best team score of the afternoon, trailing only state champion, Potomac State College.
