Uri Anderson
BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Northampton Community College head tennis coach Jack Master has announced that Uri Anderson of Easton Area High School will be competing for the Spartans this season.

Anderson, a two-time First Team All-Area and LVIAC all star, compiled a stellar 40-9 record during his junior and senior seasons at Easton.

"Uri had a tremendous high-school career," remarked Master, "he brings an unique set of skills to our team and is a tremendous student as well ... I am really looking forward to getting him on the court."

The NCC tennis team finished the 2009 season with a 7-3 record, finishing as Pennyslvania Collegiate Athletic Association (PCAA) runners-up.  Megan Groh captured the PCAA state singles championship, while Ashley Bennett teamed with Groh to win the state doubles championship.

The Spartans, who compete in the Spring, will be holding a two-week mini-camp this Fall.
