BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Northampton Community College Golf team retained their title, defeating a team of NCC staff 13.5 to 8.5 at Green Pond Country Club on Wednesday in the annual Team vs. Staff tournament.

Brandon Hendershot paced the Spartans with a 76 while Jeff Zook carded an 80.  Transfer Steven Gonzalez, who could only play nine holes due to class, shot a 35, which was the lowest nine-hole score of the day.

Director of Advising and Transfer, Mark Henry, carded an 83 to lead the staff team, followed closely by Tennis Coach Jack Master who shot an 86.  

"It was a great day," commented Golf Coach Steve Malitzki, "we had tremendous weather and it always fun to watch the students and staff interact ... it is great way for both sides to see each other in a different light."
