BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Northampton Community College women's volleyball team dropped their season opener on Wednesday night, falling at Passaic Community College 3 games to 1.
Marissa Burns recorded 7 kills, 8 digs and 29 assists and freshman
Amanda Lynch notched 20 digs for the Spartans.
"We definitely had opening match jitters," remarked Head Coach Missy Lynn, "however, I was impressed with some of the things we did and we will continue to get better. This was a good test for us tonight, but that being said we need to turn-around and be able to come out and compete at LCCC on Thursday."
Sophomore Bethany Chamberlin had 15 digs, 2 aces and 12 kills for NCC, which dropped to 0-1 on the season.
Game time at Lehigh-Carbon on Thursday is set for 7:00pm.
