BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Northampton Community College Assistant Athletic Director Adrian Yaguez has announced that the Eastern Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference (EPCC) Bowling Championships, scheduled for February 10th in Pocono Summit,  have been postponed due to the severe winter storm poised to hit the region tonight and tomorrow.

"As always we are concerned with student-athlete safety," echoed Yaguez, "after consulting with Coach Carrodo, and the other EPCC coaches, we decided it was in the best interest of all involved to postpone the event."

"It was the right decision to postpone" remarked Head Coach Sam Carrodo, "I know how bad the kids wanted to compete on Wednesday, but we will use the time to practice and work on the various oil patterns that we may encounter at Pocono Lanes."

The EPCC championship will now be held on Wednesday February 17th.
