MYRTLE BEACH, SC - The NCC baseball team fell to 1-2 on their spring trip, falling to NJCAA Division II Dutchess Community College (NY), 11-4, on Monday morning.

The Spartans led 4-3 going into the bottom of the 5th, before the Falcons exploded for 8 runs.

Billy Turner had an RBI and Justin Scerbo was 1 for 3 with an RBI to lead the Spartan attack.

Mike Ciavarella (0-1) took the loss on the mound for NCC.

The Spartans return to action this afternoon when they face Iowa Central Community College.
