MYRTLE BEACH, SC - Freshman Krysten Rockovits (Catasauqua) struck out 10 in 4 innings and Ashley Venturino (Pleasant Valley) hit a 2-run homerun in the 7th inning as the Lady Spartans softball team defeated NJCAA Division I Gordon College (GA), 3-0.

Sophomore All-Region selection Lindsay Frontino relieved Rockovits in the 5th inning and pitched the final 3 innings, recording 3 strikeouts.

The Spartans, now 2-1 on their spring trip, face Massasoit Community College on Tuesday at 9:00am.
