MYRTLE BEACH, SC -  The NCC baseball team rode the big right arm of Chris Chamberlain, as the Spartans knocked off NJCAA Division I Garrett College (MD), 9-2, in the second game of their doubleheader on Thursday.

Chamberlain (Pleasant Valley), went 6 innings, allowing only 1 hit while striking out 5.  

Greg Kolaronda was 1 for 3 with a double and 3 RBI and Billy Turner was 2 for 3 with a double and a run scored.

Eric Bohem (2-4) added an RBI as the Spartans finished their spring trip with a 2-6 record.

The Spartans will host nationally-ranked Herkimer County Community College (NY) on Sunday at 11am in their home opener.
