BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The NCC women's softball home opener, scheduled for Wednesday March 24th, vs. Lackawanna College, has been cancelled.  No make-up date has been set.

"Given that our field is brand new, the outfield grass does not have an established root base yet," commented Assistant Athletic Director Adrian Yaguez, "and given the amount of rain we received yesterday and today, it is not a safe playing surface for the student-athletes."

The Spartans, 5-3 overall, will host Ocean County College on Saturday March 27th in a Region XIX doubleheader, starting at 1:00pm.
