BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Casey Ord (Palmerton) and Tiffany Kobordo (Northwestern Lehigh) were both named to the NJCAA District G Top Returning Players list for 2010.

Ord, a first team All-Region selection and a second team NJCAA All-American, batted .543 with 34 stolen bases in 34 attempts for the Spartans last season.

Kobordo, a second team All-Region choice, finished the 2009 campaign with a .476 batting average, 6 homeruns and 41 RBI's.

The duo not only produced on the offensive side, their defensive prowess in the outfield is well documented as well, "I really think the two of them could cover the entire outfield," replied a half-joking Sam Carrodo, Head Coach of the Spartans, "their speed amazes me ... there were more than a few times last season that they robbed the opponent of an extra base hit."

The Spartans open the 2010 season on Sunday March 14th when they face Genesee Community College at 9:00am in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina at the Snowbird Classic.
