With NCC up 2-1 in the bottom of the 5th inning, Joey Bamford and Christian Joest each singled and then advanced on a fielders choice by Billy TurnerEric Bohem then singled to score Bamford and put NCC up 3-1.

The Spartans added two insurance runs in the bottom of the 6th as an error and a bases loaded walk to Bamford (3 for 3) plated both runs.

Greg Kolaronda finished 2 for 3 with a double and a RBI.

Chamberlain, who improved to 5-1, threw a complete game three-hitter, striking out seven and walking three.

In game one, Demetri Christofes (3-4) took the loss.  Christian Joest knocked home his 38th RBI of the season and Ryan Mickley finished 2 for 4 with a run scored.
