BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Northampton men's basketball coach Kevin Foley has announced another addition to his 2010-11 recruiting class, as Leontae Turner of JP McCaskey High School (Lancaster, PA) signed a national letter of intent to play at NCC.
A two-time 1st Team All-League selection, Turner (6'3"/190) averaged 20.7ppg during his senior year, finishing his career with 1,205 points.
Named to the Lancaster Lebanon League All-Decade Team, Turner led the league in 3-pointers and and set a school record for points in a game with 50 vs. Reading High.
"Leontae has the ability to be an All-Region performer for us," remarked Foley, "his athleticism and shooting ability will be a perfect fit for our offense."
Turner joins Tyvon Efferson, Ryan Matthews and Malcolm Murray, as part of Coach Foley's incoming freshman class.
