BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The NCC Tennis team used a spectacular comeback from sophomore
Ashley Bennett and solid play on the men's side to defeat Delaware County Community College, 6-1, in EPCC tennis action on Saturday.
Bennett, who has not lost in a dual meet (singles or doubles) during her NCC career, rebounded from a 5-1 deficit vs. Jessi Englebert to win 7-5 and then took the second set 6-4.
Adrienne Nenow continued her outstanding play at #2 singles, defeating Caitlyn Gross, 6-0, 6-0 to remain undefeated.
On the men's side the Spartans played well, taking three of the four singles matches. In the three matches that NCC won, the men lost only 4 games while winning 36.
Brandon Wright and Adam Lipare were victorious in doubles action, as were Bryan Silk and
Eric Knauss.
The Spartans travel to Delaware on April 7th to face the Phantoms at 3:45pm.
