MEDIA, Pa. - The NCC Tennis team faced off against Delaware County Community College on Wednesday afternoon and the Spartans came away with a hard-fought 5-2 victory to improve their record to 3-1.

Ashley Bennett and Adrienne Nenow were both victorious in their respective singles matches and in doubles play.  Bennett defeated Jessi Englebert 6-3, 6-2, while Nenow defeated Fabiana Goldszak 6-2, 6-0 in singles action, while the pair defeated Mercedes Johnson and Caitlyn Gross 8-1 in doubles.

On the men' s side, Brandon Wright, rebounded at the #1 position from his loss last Saturday to Chris Rechner, winning 4-6, 6-3, 6-4.

Bryan Silk was victorious at #3 singles, dismantling Ian Monson, 6-2,, 6-4.

In men's doubles action, Wright and Barry Fedon defeated Rechner and NIck Frigrola, 8-1, while Silk and Eric Knauss defeated Chris Curry and Oliver Feaster, 8-0.

The Spartans will travel to the state capital on Saturday to face Harrisburg Area Community College at 1:00pm.
