Foley Lands Conwell-Egan Standout Ike Robinson

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Northampton men's basketball coach Kevin Foley added another member to his impressive 2010-11 incoming class, signing Conwell-Egan (Philadelphia, PA) standout Ike Robinson to a National Letter of Intent (NLI) on Wednesday.

Robinson, who led his high school team in scoring, rebounding, steals and blocked shots during his senior season, became only the third male in Conwell-Egan history to surpass the coveted 1,000 point plateau.

Named All-Catholic League as a junior and senior, Robinson led the Philadelphia league in scoring (20.4ppg) during his senior season.

A third-team All-State selection, Robinson scored a school-record 42 points against state champion Archbishop Carroll in December.

"Ike is a program-changer for us," stated Foley, "he is obviously very talented, but more than that, he is a great teammate ... he will be a tremendous fit with our other signees."

The Spartans will be entering their second season as a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and Region XIX this Fall.
