BETHLEHEM, Pa. - NCC baseball coach Adrian Yaguez has announced the signing of Greg Garcia to a National Letter of Intent.

Garcia, a standout third baseman from North Hunterdon High School in Annandale, New Jersey, earned First Team All-Hunterdon County and Skyland Conference honors along with being named Third Team All-West Jersey during his senior season.  Garcia helped lead the Lions to a 20-7 record and a Skyland Conference - Delaware Division - West championship.

"We are very pleased to announce the signing of Greg Garcia," explained Yaguez after the signing, "Greg will have the opportunity to compete for a spot in our corner infield this fall.  He comes from an established program at North Hunterdon and has been very well coached."

Garcia finished the 2010 season batting .365 with 32 hits, including five doubles and six homeruns while knocking in 29 runs.

Northampton finished the 2010 season with a record of 20-21, advancing to the Region XIX Final Four in just their second season of NJCAA competition.
