COLORADO SPRINGS, Co. - NCC student-athletes
Tiffany Kobordo and
Karla Diekman were recognized by the NJCAA on Monday for their academic achievements, both earning Academic All-American honors.
Kobordo, a member of the softball team, earned Distinguished Academic All-American Honors for achieving a 3.92 GPA. Student-athletes must earn a minimum of 45 credits with a 3.80 GPA, or higher, to earn Distinguished Academic Honors. A graduate of Northwestern Lehigh, Korbordo earned her degree in Sport Management and will be continuing her academic and athletic pursuits at NCAA Division II Concord College in West Virginia.
Diekman, a member of the volleyball team, was named an Academic All-American for earning a 3.72 GPA. Student-athletes needed to achieve a minimum of a 3.60 to a 3.79 GPA, with at least 45 credits earned, to be named an Academic All-American. A graduate of Tamaqua High School, Diekman is majoring in Radiography.
