BETHLEHEM, Pa. - As August 31st, 2010 gets closer and closer, Head Coach Ned Yelovich and his staff continue to prepare the NCC soccer team for their initial Region XIX contest vs. Bergen County College.

"It is somewhat of a paradox," lamented Yelovich, "I would love to have more time to prepare, but at the same time I am anxious to see our guys compete."

Coach Yelovich expects to make the final announcement on Monday regarding his 2010 roster, as final decisions were discussed among the staff during the weekend practice session.

"We should have final roster today," remarked Yelovich, "the staff and I are very pleased with what we have seen so far and I believe we have a strong nucleus of players that should allow us to compete."

No matter what the final decision regarding the roster is, it will be a team dominated by Lehigh Valley and Pocono-area talent.  The tryouts were dominated with student-athletes from Liberty, Faith Christian, Bangor, Freedom, and Easton.
