The Program - Men's Soccer

Men's Soccer has experienced a resurgence on the Northampton campus since 2008, compiling a 30-6-0 record over the last two seasons, including the 2009 PCAA state championship.

The 2010 season will be one of change, as Ned Yelovich replaces Erik Daly (30-6-0) as Head Coach of the Spartans and the team enters its first season of play in Region XIX of the NJCAA.

Soccer has a long tradition of excellence on the Bethlehem campus, with legendary Lehigh Valley coach Ed Csongradi guiding the program to a 70-44-4 record during his tenure, including the program's first PCAA state championship in 2006.

Erik Daly was hired as the Spartans head coach in the summer of 2008 and promptly guided NCC to a 16-1-0 record, the Eastern Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference (EPCC) regular season title and a runner-up finish in the PCAA state championship.  The Spartans scored a school record 80 goals (5.0 goals per game) and allowed a paltry 13 goals against (0.81 per game) with nine shutouts during the 2008 campaign.

Daly returned in 2009 to lead NCC to a 14-5-0 mark, culminating with the PCAA championship victory over Harrisburg Area Community College.

Ned Yelovich was hired in April 2010 as the new Head Coach of the Spartans and will be given the task of leading NCC into the top junior college soccer region in the country, which includes the 2009 NJCAA national champion, Union County College.
