A name familiar to baseball fans in the Lehigh Valley, Adrian Yaguez just completed his second season as the Head Coach of the Spartans.  Yaguez, who also serves as the Assistant Director of Athletics, lead the Spartans to the Region XIX Final Four in just their second season of National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and Region XIX competition.  The team finished the 2010 campaign in 5th place in the regular season and then upset 4th seeded Bergen County College to advance to their first Region Final Four

Yaguez, former Head Coach of the Lehigh Valley Catz of the ACBL for 7 years, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the dugout at Northampton.  Yaguez has served as an Assistant Coach at NCC, Phillipsburg High School and NCAA Division I Lafayette College.  Success has followed Yaguez; an ACBL championship in 2003, EPCC championships during his tenure at NCC and a trip to the NCAA College World Series Regionals while a member of the staff at Lafayette in 2007.

An active member of various youth organizations and a featured speaker at numerous coaching clinics, Yaguez has had over 40 players sign professional contracts, including a 4th round pick by the St. Louis Cardinals in 2004.  Yaguez received his bachelors degree from DeSales University and his masters degree from East Stroudsburg University.  A native of New Jersey, Coach Yaguez resides in Easton with his wife Erica and son Jackson.
