Northampton Community College Athletics

As a member of the volleyball, basketball and softball teams from 1986 to 1988, Sherry Thompson-Casey helped the teams combine to go 115-30 (79%) during her career.  During that time Sherry captured three Pennsylvania Collegiate Athletic Association (PCAA) state championships and three Eastern Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference (EPCC) tournament titles.

Sherry's name is littered throughout the NCC record books, including the record for career kills (311) and blocks (82) in volleyball, while ranking 6th all-time in rebounds for basketball (416).

Named Female Athlete of the Year in 1987, Sherry received an Associate's Degree in General Studies and later returned to receive her Associate's of Applied Science in Nursing.  A 2008 graduate of Gwnedd-Mercy College, Sherry is employed as an emergency room nurse at Grand View Hospital.

Sherry and her husband Jimmy have two children; Jimmy IV and Gabrielle.
