MOORE TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Northampton freshman Troy Heffelfinger has been named First Team All-Region by the league coaches for the 2013 season.

Heffelfinger, who fired back to back rounds of 79 at the Region XIX championship at Cape May National, placed 5th overall, helping the Spartans to a 6th place finish in the team standings. 

Hefflefinger's performance at the Region Tournament garnered him a spot at the NJCAA Division III National Golf Tournament in Chautauqua, NY June 3rd - 7th.

Northampton, which was competing in their first season as a NJCAA member, won the Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference championship and was one of 8 teams (out of 16) to qualify for the Region XIX tournament.
