CHAUTAUQUA, NY - The Northampton Golf team opened play at the NJCAA National Tournament with an opening round score of 346, which puts them in 9th place. 

Trevor Buss (Nazareth, PA/Nazareth) fired an 82, followed by Nick Hinkle (Nazareth, PA/Nazareth) at 83, JD Shiner (Bangor, PA/Bangor ) 86 and Blake McNew (Bangor, PA/Bangor ) 96 for the Spartans. 

Sandhills Community College (NC) leads the tournament, with a team score of 314 after round one.
