CHAUTAUQUA, NY - The Northampton Golf team fired their best round of the tournament on Friday, carding a 325, to finish in 9th place at the 2019 DIII NJCAA National Championship.
Nick Hinkle (Nazareth, PA/Nazareth) shot a 74 to lead the Spartans, followed by
Trevor Buss (Nazareth, PA/Nazareth) at 79,
JD Shiner (Bangor, PA/Bangor ) 85 and
Blake McNew (Bangor, PA/Bangor ) at 87.
The Spartans finished the four-day event with a team score of 1344.
Georgia Military won the national title, downing Sandhills Community College by one stroke.
