BLACKWOOD, NJ - The Northampton men's wrestling team fell 37-16 to Camden County College in a dual meet on Wednesday evening at Papiano Arena, dropping to 1-2 in dual meets on the season.

Luke Velekei (Pen Argyl, PA/Pen Argyl) and Xavier Arner (Schnecksville, PA/Whitehall) both improved to 3-0 on the season, with Velekei taking a 14-4 major decision at 184 and Arner winning at 157 via injury default, after leading 10-1. 

"Camden is a well-coached and balanced team that will be battling for the District crown," remarked Northampton Head Coach Shaun Lally, "we came out a little flat to start, but ultimately there were some positives and lessons we took away from the loss and look forward to getting back on the mat on Monday vs. Lackawanna."
