CHARLOTTE, NC - Nasir Ruhani (Brooklyn, NY/Eagle Academy (NY)) has been named an All-American by the NJCAA following his standout sophomore season for the Spartans, during which they finished 23-6, ranked 12th in the country. 

Ruhani, who was named First Team All-Region and First Team All-EPAC, led the Spartans in scoring at 21.1ppg while shooting 50% from the field, and averaged 6.7rpg, 3.0apg and 2.0spg.

"Nasir had a tremendous year for us," remarked Head Coach Brennan McCarthy, "he has an unique ability to get to the rim and create opportunities for himself and others."

Ruhani becomes the 4th Spartan men's basketball player to earn All-American honors:
