CHARLOTTE, NC - Women's Basketball freshman standout
Layla Sweatte (Allentown, PA/William Allen) has been honored by the NJCAA as a 2025 All-American selection.
Sweatte helped guide the Spartans to a 17-10 record and a birth in the Region 19 Final Four after averaging a team-leading 20.5ppg.
Named First Team All-Region and All-Conference, Sweatte was also chosen as the EPAC Player of the Year.
"Layla made such an impact this season," stated Head Coach
Carly Gallagher, "she was a force on the offensive end, with the ability to score both inside and out."
Sweatte is the 5th Northampton women's basketball player to earn NJCAA All-American Honors, joining her assistant coach
