SCHNECKSVILLE, Pa. - The NCC women's volleyball team fell to 0-2 on the season with a 3-1 loss at Lehigh-Carbon Community College (2-0) on Thursday night.

The Cougars took game one 25-13, before the Spartans rallied to even the match at 1-1, taking game two 25-15.  LCCC then took control of the match, winning game three 25-14 and game four 25-22 to earn the 3-1 victory.

Rebecca Rojos recorded 8 digs and 1 ace, while sophomore Marissa Burns notched 26 assists and 4 kills.  

"We played well in spurts," replied Coach Missy Lynn, "but we just couldn't sustain our intensity and focus.  We need to learn from this and move on and prepare for Bucks County on Monday."

The Spartans host Bucks County Community College at 7pm on Monday in their home opener.
