BETHLEHEM, Pa. -  The NCC women's volleyball team struck quickly, taking game one 25-18, but undefeated Harrisburg Area Community College responded by taking the next three games; 25-14, 25-22, 25-22 to earn the 3-1 victory on Wednesday night.

Karla Diekman recorded 24 digs and 5 kills and Amanda Lynch added 18 digs and 5 kills to pace the Spartans.

"I was very happy with how the girls played," remarked Head Coach Missy Lynn, "obviously it is difficult to take a loss, but I am seeing improvement each time out."

The Spartans fall to 1-3 overall and 1-2 in the EPCC.

Northampton travels to Luzerne County Community College on September 19th for a tri-match with Delaware County Community College.
