PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Sophomore Marissa Burns recorded 42 assists and 19 digs as the Northampton Community College women's volleyball team defeated the Community College of Philadelphia, 3-1, on Tuesday night.

The Colonials took game one, 25-23, before the Spartans recovered and swept the next three games; 25-20, 25-18, 25-20.

Rebecca Rojas notched 16 kills, 2 blocks and 7 digs, while Bethany Chamberlin contributed 11 kills and 15 digs for the Spartans.

Northampton, now 4-3 overall and 4-2 in the EPCC, hosts NJCAA Division II Harcum College on September 24th at 6pm.
