BLUE BELL, Pa. - Northampton Community College rallied from an 11-4 deficit in the fifth and deciding game to take a 16-14 victory and earn a thrilling 3-2 win over Montgomery County Community College on Monday night in Region XIX volleyball action.

The Spartans evened the match at 2-2 with a 25-17 victory in game four, setting up the thrilling deciding fifth game.

"It was a great college volleyball match," remarked NCC  Head Coach Adrian Yaguez, "the crowd really took us out of the first game, but the girls rebounded and began to play our style.  Montgomery is very talented ... we feel very good about getting out of here with a victory."

Northampton, which improves to 3-0 overall and 3-0 in Region XIX, takes over sole possession of first place in the Region with the victory.

Montgomery falls to 2-1 overall and 2-1 in Region XIX.

NCC returns to action on September 22nd when they host NJCAA Division II Harcum College at 6:00pm.
