MOORE TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Northampton sophomore Kelly Yagerhofer has been named Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference Player of the Year, the league office announced on Thursday.

Yagerhofer, a 2011 First Team All-Region selection, earned 64 votes to outdistance Ameleah Moyer of Harrisburg by 5 votes to earn the Player of the Year honor.

Yagerhofer was joined on the All-Conference First Team by teammates Ashley McCauley and Anna Domyan, as the Spartans took three of the six spots on the First Team.

The Spartans Head Coach Adrian Yaguez was named EPAC Coach of the Year by his peers, after guiding the Spartans to a perfect 18-0 conference record.

Northampton, ranked 10th in the country, will open Region XIX Tournament play on Tuesday October 23rd when they host Middlesex County College at 7pm.
