BETHLEHEM, Pa. - After being named Conference Player of the Year last week, Kelly Yagerhofer continues to add to her impressive volleyball resume as she was named the 2012 Region XIX Player of the Year, as announced today by the league office.

The 5'6" outside hitter, who was a 2011 First Team All-Region selection, is currently second in the country in aces per set at 1.60, after leading the country last season.

Yagerhofer has recorded 165 kills, 99 aces and 70 digs this season for the undefeated Spartans.

"I'm very happy for Kelly," expressed Head Coach Adrian Yaguez, "I really thought she deserved it last season, but she worked very hard in the off-season and has really been a leader for this team."
