POCONO SUMMIT, Pa. - The NCC Bowling team was denied a repeat at the EPCC conference championship, finishing a disappointing fourth at the 2012 conference tournament on Wednesday.
Eric Wilmot led the Spartans with a 615 series (189, 224, 202), followed by
Kyle Metz at 577 (212, 157, 208),
Sal Fortunato at 542 (187, 169, 186) and
Sean Moser's 528 (181, 164, 183).
Penn College took home the title, knocking down 2460 pins, led by Cory McKillips who had the high game of the day at 255 and the high series with a 649.
The Spartans will now compete at the NJCAA National Tournament in Buffalo, NY on March 2nd and 3rd. NCC will look to improve on their 17th place finish last season.
