HARRISBURG, Pa. - The Northampton volleyball team swept their EPAC tri-match on Saturday at Harrisburg, downing the Hawks and Lackawanna College to remain undefeated on the season.

The nationally-ranked Spartans received one of their toughest tests of the season in match one vs. Harrisburg, winning 25-23, 22-25, 25-20, 25-19.  

In the second match the Spartans dominated Lackawanna, winning 25-6, 25-6, 25-10.

"Harrisburg was ready to play today," commented Head Coach Adrian Yaguez, "give them credit, they were prepared and took advantage of our mistakes, but we were able to gain our composure and ultimately get the victory."

The tri-match sweep clinches the 2013 EPAC championship for Northampton, as they improve to 17-0 with one conference match remaining.

NCC (20-0 overall) will host Luzerne County Community College on Monday night at the Arthur L. Scott Spartan Center.
