Volleyball Sweeps Philadelphia in Non-Conference Match

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Northampton volleyball team, ranked 10th in the nation in the latest NJCAA poll, downed the Community College of Philadelphia 25-4, 25-4, 25-5 for their 13th consecutive victory on Thursday night at the Arthur L. Scott Center.

Jax Babezki (Warrington, PA/Central Bucks South ) led the Spartans with 11 kills while Bridget Lozier (Saylorsburg, PA/Pleasant Valley ) had 8 kills, 6 aces and 4 blocks. Anona Bauman (Northampton, PA/Northampton ) recorded 25 assists, 10 aces and 4 digs and Rachael Caywood (Bath, PA/Nazareth ) added 3 kills for Northampton.

The Spartans, now 16-3 overall, travel to Wayne, PA on Saturday for a tri-match with Valley Forge and Harrisburg.

The Community College of Philadelphia falls to 0-6.
