BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Northampton Men's Soccer team earned the #10 seed for the Region XIX playoffs and will face 7th seeded Union County College on Saturday in Berkley Heights, NJ at 3pm. 

The Spartans, 10-4-0, have enjoyed a tremendous turnaround season after finishing the 2014 campaign 3-10-0, "We brought in a whole new roster for the most part," commented Head Coach Brennan McCarthy, "and this group has really bought into the work ethic and commitment required to be a competitive team in this region."

The Spartans clinched a share of the EPAC title, finishing with a 10-2-0 record, while setting a number of school records along the way, including most goals in a game (12 vs. Lehigh Carbon on October 7th), conference wins (10) and region wins (10), in addtion to numerous individual game, season and career records. 

The winner of Saturday's matchup will advance to 2nd round and will face 2nd seeded Bergen Community College on October 28th.
