Volleyball Cruises to 5th Straight Victory

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Northampton women's volleyball team won their 5th straight match on Thursday evening, downing Montgomery County Community College 25-21, 25-18, 25-12 at the Arthur L. Scott Spartan Center.

Jax Babezki (Warrington, PA/Central Bucks South ) recorded a season-high 15 kills, while Kalli Walling (Saylorsburg, PA/Pleasant Valley) had 19 digs as the Spartans swept their EPAC rivals. Hannah Park (Snow Shoe, PA/Bald Eagle ) added 3 aces and 5 digs, while Kailee Dube (Milford, PA/Delaware Valley ) had 8 kills, Bridget Lozier (Saylorsburg, PA/Pleasant Valley ) 6 kills and Morgan Barnes (Macungie, PA/Salem Christian ) 3 kills. Anona Bauman (Northampton, PA/Northampton ) recorded 33 assists and 6 service aces.

Northampton improves to 8-3 overall and 5-0 in Region XIX, while Montgomery falls to 4-2 overall and 4-1 in Region XIX.

The Spartans host a tri-match on Saturday, facing two Division II opponents; Lackawanna College at 12pm and Harcum College at approximately 3pm.
