BETHLEHEM, Pa. - EPAC Player of the Year Katrina Shelly (Mountville, PA /Hempfield ) had 12 kills and 11 digs to lead Northampton to a 25-15, 25-9, 25-8 victory over 8th seeded Middlesex County College on Tuesday evening at the Arthur L. Scott Center. 

The Spartans came out of the gate a little slow, but Shelly and Bridget Lozier (Saylorsburg, PA/Pleasant Valley), 8 kills, 2 blocks, got the Spartans rolling and they never looked back. 

Emily Petrat (Bethlehem, PA /Freedom ) added 6 kills, Jessica Omick (Nazareth, PA/Notre Dame - Green Pond ) had 3 kills, Alysce Molchan (Nazareth, PA/Notre Dame - Green Pond ) recorded 27 assists and Megan Crimi (Nazareth, PA /Notre Dame - Green Pond ) had 16 digs for Northampton. 

The Spartans, now 27-1 overall, will face the winner of #4 Bergen vs. #5 Harrisburg on Saturday at 11am in the Region XIX semifinals, hosted at Northampton. 

Middlesex, which defeated Valley Forge 3-0 to advance, finishes the season 10-8 overall.
