BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The 9th ranked Northampton women's volleyball team continued their winning ways, downing Bucks County Community College, 25-9, 25-7, 25-7, on Tuesday evening at the Arthur L. Scott Center.
Emily Petrat (Bethlehem, PA /Freedom ) recorded 10 kills and 4 digs, while
Bridget Lozier (Saylorsburg, PA/Pleasant Valley) added 7 kills and
Laura Sweger (Elizabethville, PA /Upper Dauphin ) had 2 kills and 3 blocks.
Megan Crimi (Nazareth, PA /Notre Dame - Green Pond ) and
Hannah Park (Snow Shoe, PA /Bald Eagle ) combined for 12 service aces and 11 digs, while
Kalli Walling (Saylorsburg, PA /Pleasant Valley) had 13 digs, giving her 479 for her career, tying her for the all-time career record held by Jackie Sampson (2004-05).
The victory, Northampton's 6th straight, improves them to 13-1 overall as they prepare to host Lackawanna College at the Northampton Community College Tannersville campus on Thursday evening at 7pm.
Bucks County falls to 4-5 overall with the loss.
