BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Northampton women's volleyball team picked up their 93rd consecutive Region XIX Division III victory on Tuesday, downing Montgomery 25-11, 25-4, 25-8.
Madelyn Deloglos (Northampton, PA/Northampton ) had 7 kills,
Bridget Crimi (Nazareth, PA/Notre Dame - Green Pond ) recorded 11 aces and 14 digs and
Savanna Jordan (Bath, PA /Bethlehem Catholic) had 21 assists as the Spartans rebounded after a road loss to Del Tech on Saturday.
"I think it was the best we have played all year," commented Head Coach
Adrian Yaguez, "we seemed a little sharper and little more crisp tonight, which is reflected in the score."
Abby Orth (Nazareth, PA/Nazareth) registered 3 kills, 4 aces and 7 digs and
Caisey Kroschwitz (Bath, PA /Bethlehem Catholic) had 15 digs as the Spartans improved to 4-3 on the season.
Northampton hosts Lehigh Carbon on Thursday night at 7pm.
Montgomery falls to 6-3 with the loss.
The Spartans last dropped a Region XIX Division III match on October 22, 2011 vs. Passaic County Community College.
