Box Score BRYN MAWR, Pa. - The Northampton women's volleyball team battled Division II Harcum College for three sets, but the Bears were too much, downing the Spartans; 25-21, 25-23, 25-21.

Coming off their first victory of the season, Head Coach Rachael Caywood was inspired by what she saw despite the loss, "I thought the girls really battled tonight," stated Caywood, "I didn't think we put up much of a fight when we played Harcum earlier in the season (September 20th), but tonight we battled for every point and we never gave up.  I am really proud of how they fought tonight."

Jordan Appleton (Nazareth, PA/Notre Dame - Green Pond) led the Spartans with 10 kills and 13 digs, Jennique Herrera (Plainfield Township, PA/Pen Argyl) added 9 kills, Theresa Crimi (Nazareth, PA/Notre Dame - Green Pond) had 9 assists and 10 digs and Meghan Speshok (Easton, PA/Easton) finished with 13 digs, 2 aces and 4 assists. 

The loss drops Northampton to 1-9 overall. 

Harcum improves to 6-4 overall with the victory. 

The Spartans are back on the court on Monday October 18th when they host Montgomery County Community College at 7pm.
