BLUE BELL, Pa. - The Northampton women's volleyball team dropped a Region 19 matchup on Saturday to Montgomery County Community College, falling 3-0 (13-25, 22-25, 15-25).
Jordan Appleton (Nazareth, PA/Notre Dame - Green Pond) recorded 7 kills, 33 digs and 5 service aces, while
Jennique Herrera (Plainfield Township, PA/Pen Argyl) added 7 kills and 11 digs.Â
Meghan Speshok (Easton, PA/Easton), the national leader in digs per set, had 34 digs in the match and
Genesis Martinez (Reading, PA/Muhlenberg) notched 3 kills and 5 blocks.Â
The Spartans, now 0-6 overall, 0-3 in Region 19 and 0-2 in the EPAC, return to the court on the 6th when they travel to Harrisburg to face the Hawks at 6pm.Â
Montgomery improves to 5-3 overall and 1-1 in Region 19.Â
