Box Score 1 BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Northampton women's volleyball team wrapped up the 2021 season with a doubleheader sweep of Lackawanna College on Wednesday night.

Match One - Won 3-0 (25-14, 25-2, 25-4)
Meghan Speshok (Easton, PA/Easton) recorded 15 digs and 10 aces in the opening match as the Spartans picked up their 2nd victory of the season with a 3-0 victory over the Falcons. Theresa Crimi (Nazareth, PA/Notre Dame - Green Pond) added 18 assists, 9 digs and 6 aces and Jennique Herrera (Plainfield Township, PA/Pen Argyl) had 8 kills, 6 aces and 5 digs to lead the Spartans. 

Match Two - Won 3-0 (25-8, 25-6, 25-9)
In match two Jordan Appleton (Nazareth, PA/Notre Dame - Green Pond) had 8 kills and 8 digs, Jennique Herrera (Plainfield Township, PA/Pen Argyl) had 7 kills, 5 digs, 1 assist and 5 aces and Theresa Crimi (Nazareth, PA/Notre Dame - Green Pond) notched 12 assists, 2 kills, 9 digs and 7 aces to lead Northampton to the sweep of Lackawanna. 

"I'm really proud of the improvement throughout the season," remarked Head Coach Rachael Caywood, "these young women really bought into the program ... I am very excited for the future."

Northampton finishes the season at 3-10 following the doubleheader sweep.
