The Spartans had a couple opportunities to tie the contest in the last 5 minutes but couldn't finish. "We kept pushing at the end, but just couldn't get the equalizer," remarked Head Coach Mario Barrantes, "unfortunately we got a little sloppy defensively midway through the second half and it cost us."
