"Coach Stone does a nice job with the Stevens program," commented Head Coach
Brennan McCarthy, "he always has them prepared and they play hard. We were able to get some clean looks tonight and we did a much better job from the foul line (21 of 27) and that allowed us to get some separation and then we were able to lock down defensively and get some stops."
Roper led Northampton off the glass with 11, followed by Copeland and Fox with 6 each. Fox added 7 assists and 2 steals, as the Spartans finished with 14 steals as a team.
The win moves Northampton to 10-2 overall, 6-1 in Region 19 and 4-1 in the EPAC.
