Box Score PATERSON, NJ - The 7th ranked Northampton men's basketball team fell on the road to Passaic County Community College on Thursday evening, dropping the Region 19 contest, 82-77, at Panther Gymnasium. 

The Spartans, who led 39-33 at the break, were outscored 49-38 in the second half. 

Mike Marable (Harrisburg, PA/Susquehanna) led the Spartans with 23 points, while CJ Miles (Bangor, PA/Bangor) added 21. 

The Spartans had more field goals than the Panthers, 32-29, but were outscored 16 to 8 af the foul line. 

The loss drops Northampton to 9-2 overall and 5-1 in Region 19.

Passaic improves to 7-5 overall and 6-4 in Region 19. 

The Spartans continue their road trip on Saturday as they travel to Philadelphia to face Delaware County Community College at 2pm and then finish their trip on Sunday with a game in Toms River, NJ vs. Ocean County College at 2pm.
